Between Alumicor and AMR, Imritec process over 90% of South Africa’s available aluminium dross, being in the region of 36,000 tons per annum.

Bahrain Operations

Our consultation is always in sync with your strategy

Alumicor Bahrain is Imritec’s flagship recycling facility near ALBA.

Through its subsidiary, Alumicor Bahrain W.L.L, Imritec has established its flagship cradle-to-grave, zero-landfill dross recycling facility in the Askar Industrial area, with an area of 30,000 m2, near ALBA.

Alumicor Bahrain was commissioned in December 2023 and is the flagship for its innovative residue recovery process to “close the circle” with zero-landfill waste.

Alumicor Bahrain has approval from the local regulator, the Supreme Councel of Environment of Bahrain to process 48,000 tons of dross per annum and 30,000 tons of residue in its Residue Treatment Facility.
